 1410LF Liquid Iron Phosphate

Luster-Fos1410LF is a liquid iron phosphate designed for mixed runs of steel, zinc, and aluminum. Simultaneously, Luster-Fos 1410LF cleans and produces an excellent pre-paint iron phosphate conversion coating in one operation at temperatures from 120° - 175° F. It may be applied by either immersion or spray washers. It utilizes a low foam surfactant formulation, which makes it especially suited for spray application. Properly applied, Luster-Fos 1410LF meets the requirements of the following Federal and Military Specifications: QQ-P-416C, Type III; TT-C-490B, Type II; Mil-C-46487, Grade I and II (5 stages mandatory) and Mil-F-14072A.

 2700 Liquid Zinc Phosphate

Luster-Fos 2700 is a liquid, zinc phosphate material primarily designed to establish heavyweight (1,000 to 3,000 mg/ft²) absorbent coatings on steel surfaces. The heavy coatings produced by Luster-Fos 2700 provide excellent "soak-up" properties for supplemental coatings such as rust preventative oils or waxes. Luster-Fos 2700 may be used in immersion or 5-stage spray applications. Luster-Fos 2700 can also be employed as a prepaint treatment. Coating weights in the range of 300 to 600 mg/ft² are recommended to insure corrosion resistance and excellent paint adhesion. The superior chemical stability of Luster-Fos 2700 eliminates the need for preconditioning the phosphate bath and substantially reduces sludge build-up. Properly applied, Luster-Fos 2700 meets the requirements of the following Federal and Military Specifications: TT-C-490 (Type I) and Mil-P-16232 (Type Z).

 2800 - Liquid 5 Stage Zinc Phosphate

LUSTER-FOS 2800 is a liquid, five-stage zinc phosphate material capable of developing a fine to heavy grain crystal structure on steel, zinc, galvanized steel, cadmium plate and some aluminum alloys. Versatile LUSTER-FOS 2800 is designed for immersion or spraywasher application for coating thicknesses to suit your needs. For pre-paint application, coating weights of 150 to 600 mg/ft2 are recommended. These coating weights will produce fine-grained, tightly packed crystals to insure superior product appearance, coupled with long lasting corrosion tolerance by either spray or immersion application. For cold forming, drawing, and extruding operations, LUSTER-FOS 2800 can be used by tank application to produce coating weights of 1,000 to 4,500 mg/ft2. The crystal structure of the heavy zinc phosphate produced by LUSTER-FOS 2800 develops a highly absorbent surface. This enables excellent soak-up properties where supplemental coatings such as rust preventative oils or waxes are desirable. Properly applied, LUSTER-FOS 2800 meets the requirements of the following Federal and Military
Specifications: QQ-Z-32SA, Type III, QQ-P-416A, Type III, TT-C-490A, Type I, and Mil-C-490A, Grade I, Type I; Mil-F-14072 and Mil-P-16232D, Type Z.

 Calcium Modified Liquid Zinc Phosphate

Luster-Fos 2900 is a calcium modified, liquid zinc phosphate material primarily designed to establish fine grained coatings on steel surfaces. Luster-Fos 2900 is an exceptional tool in a prepaint treatment operation. Coating weights in the range of 300 to 600 mg/ft² are recommended to insure corrosion resistance and excellent paint adhesion.

Luster-Fos 2900 can also provide heavyweight coatings on steel in the range of 1,000 - 1,500 mg/ft2. These coatings provide absorbent properties for supplemental treatments such as rust preventative oils. Properly applied, Luster-Fos 2900 meets the requirements of the following Federal and Military Specifications: TT-C-490 (Type I), and Mil-P-16232,(Type Z).
