 Aluminescent Non-Chrome Aluminum Conversion Coating

[TOP]
Luster-On Aluminescent is a powdered product used to form a chromate conversion coating on aluminum surfaces without the use of hexavalent chromium. The process provides excellent corrosion protection at low cost and forms a base for paint, lacquer, or rubber bonding. The chromate can be applied by dip, spray, brush, swab, or roll coating, requires no electric current, cooling or exhaust. Luster-On Aluminescent yields clear, slightly iridescent films while forming a protective surface with lower electrical resistance than anodizing. Luster-On Aluminescent is suitable for bo th wrought and cast aluminum alloys and is designed for ease of operation with
minimum control.

 Utility K Yellow Chromate

Luster-On Utility K: Easy to use concentrated liquid product that produces a bright attractive, iridescent chromate conversion coating on zinc or cadmium plate and zinc based die castings. The corrosion resistances exceeds the standard salt spray requirements for zinc and cadmium plated surfaces. Clear bright films can also be formed when used with a leach back.

 18/19 Black Chromate

Luster-On 18 & 19: This two-part liquid chromate product forms a lustrous black surface on zinc and cadmium plate. A single dip process, which is operated at room temperature. The coating produced will resist staining, tarnishing and white corrosion products.

 LO 50 Clear Chromate Powder

[TOP]
Luster-On 50: A powdered chromate conversion coating which produces a bright lustrous finish on zinc and cadmium surfaces when leached in Luster-On Salts, the deposit will be passivated, thereby increasing the resistance to staining, tarnishing, and white corrosion products. Also highly protective iridescent films are formed at low concentrations. Luster-On 50 is easily controlled and it is operated at room temperatures.

 Tri-Blue 700 Trivalent Clear Chromate
